WHAT IS FIND ?
FIND is a groundbreaking project that brings modern technology to nuclear power plant safety
and monitoring. The project develops smart detection systems - like structural
health
monitoring and digital twins - for nuclear facilities, making them safer and
more
efficient.
Led by ASNR, France's nuclear safety regulator, FIND's
technologies are
designed to be both
cost-effective and minimally intrusive. The project's innovations will help power plants
operate more safely, whilst reducing maintenance costs and worker exposure to radiation.
This contributes to the safety of nuclear
power plants and other
nuclear facilities,
in the
context of their long-term operation.

OBJECTIVES
FIND aims to enhance the safety of nuclear power plants through intelligent monitoring technologies, combining real-time detection systems with advanced digital solutions to ensure safer and more efficient operations.
TECHNICAL WORK PROGRAMME
FIND tackles key industrial challenges by developing advanced monitoring systems for nuclear facilities. Our focus spans from surveillance of critical water transport systems to accident management solutions.
RESULTS
Throughout the project's duration, FIND will produce various public deliverables to share knowledge and findings with the scientific community and stakeholders. These documents will be regularly uploaded to this section.
